Rock Garden

This Rock garden/ hobo central was in Westend. While I was painting an old man stops by, looks at my painting and goes "hmm..I dont know.."

Blue House

Sat down on the sidewalk and painted this blue house on Barcalay. Wish I had handled the blues on the cast shadow better. 

Danial Grocery Store

Around 8 am today I biked up on Smithe and turned on to Barcalay. I had my eye on this little Mediterranean grocery store since the first day Aditi took me there. She loves this store, me too but for different reasons. Right across the street from it there were 2 park benches, so it turned out to be a good spot for me to sit and paint. The sun was moving in and out of the clouds, so I tried to capture the shadows as soon as the sun came out.

This truck was outside our building today morning. I didnt have enough time to go out and paint, so I painted this small sketch looking down from our window by the bistro. 

It started drizzling before I could take this any further.

boats by the sea wall

I bought a new bike, so decided to bike down to the seawall and paint the boats. It was a lot of fun to sit and paint outside in the nice cool breeze. I want to do this more often and get better at this.
