Around 8 am today I biked up on Smithe and turned on to Barcalay. I had my eye on this little Mediterranean grocery store since the first day Aditi took me there. She loves this store, me too but for different reasons. Right across the street from it there were 2 park benches, so it turned out to be a good spot for me to sit and paint. The sun was moving in and out of the clouds, so I tried to capture the shadows as soon as the sun came out.
